While Honda has yet to release the all-new 2024 Honda Passport to the public, we can glean some information based on past generations and recent updates to other Honda vehicles. Here’s everything we know about the interior of the 2024 Honda Passport.

What’s New in 2024?

The Honda Passport currently comes in three trim levels: the EX-L, the TrailSport, and the Elite. Those trims are likely to carry over into the 2024 model year with some new updates and features. Most notably, the Passport could receive a similar powertrain upgrade as the 2023 Honda Pilot, which comes equipped with a new 3.5-liter V-6 engine generating an increased 285 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The engine pairs with a new 10-speed automatic transmission, replacing the former nine-speed.

Other upgrades may include some additional features to make the Honda Passport TrailSport off-road ready. These new additions may include steel skid plates, extra ground clearance, and unique suspension tuning. With these changes, the Passport’s most rugged trim might be ready to leave the pavement and hit the open trails.

The Honda Passport is a five-seat SUV with a roomy interior, even for back-seat passengers. That’s unlikely to change in 2024. Currently, all Passports come with leather-trimmed seats, and the TrailSport adds unique orange stitching. When you don’t have people riding in the back, you can fold down the 60/40-split rear seats for extra cargo space. In the front, two-position memory for the driver’s seat and the side mirrors make it a breeze to change drivers on long road trips. These features will likely continue to be perks of the 2024 Honda Passport.

Comfort and Convenience

One of the Passport’s top features is its generous cargo space, and that shouldn’t be changing in 2024. Currently, the Passport offers 50.5 cubic feet of space with the second-row seats upright. That’s plenty of room to stow backpacks or load groceries easily. When you need more room for bulky items like luggage, boxes, or equipment, you can fold down the back seats for up to 100.8 cubic feet of cargo volume. Technology and Infotainment

There’s still a lot that’s unknown about the 2024 Honda Passport, but one thing’s for sure: It will be equipped with Honda’s state-of-the-art technology and infotainment. All 2023 Passports come with an 8-inch high-resolution touch screen. A larger touch screen, such as the one found in some trims of the Honda Accord, isn’t out of the question in 2024. Regardless of the size, the system will be compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can listen to your music, play your podcasts, or access your phone messages easily.

 

The current Passport also features other technologies to keep you connected on your drive. Expect to see these same standard features in the 2024 Passport as well:

  • Adaptive cruise control: This type of cruise control automatically adjusts the speed based on the vehicle’s distance from others on the road.
  • Lane keeping assist: This system adjusts the steering to keep the vehicle centered in its lane.
  • Blind spot information system: Blind spot monitoring alerts you to vehicles in your blind spot when signaling, making a noise until it’s clear to proceed.
  • Auto high-beam headlights: You’ll never have to remember to switch between high and low beams at night, since these headlights will do it for you automatically.
