The Honda CR-V is one of the most affordable SUVs in our lineup. The 2019 model comes in four trim levels: the LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring. Two four-cylinder engines are available to power it. The LX trim has a 2.4-liter engine, while the other trims have a 1.5-liter turbocharged version.

The first engine provides 184 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque, while the second grants 190 hp and 179 lb-ft of torque. Both engines tie to a continuously variable transmission. You can choose between rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive on all 2019 Honda CR-V versions.

This CR-V can tow up to 1,500 pounds while carrying up to 1,388 pounds of cargo in an area measuring 37.6 cubic feet or 75.8 cubic feet with the seating area included. The best sound system for this SUV is the special SiriusXM audio system. It’s a nine-speaker version with a subwoofer, a 330-watt amplifier, and Pandora and SiriusXM satellite radio access.
