Honda offers the 2021 Accord in five trim levels and two hybrid powertrain versions. The base model LX rolls on stylish silver-painted 17-inch alloy wheels. The 2.0-liter Sport trim comes standard with a one-touch power moonroof with a tilt feature.

The Hybrid EX model has 17-inch alloy wheels and body-color heated power outside mirrors. LED lighting and a one-touch power moonroof come standard for the Hybrid EX, but it drops the chrome exhaust finishers and decklid spoiler. The EX-L model adds body-color heated, power, side-view mirrors with integrated LED turn signal indicators, courtesy lights, and body-colored parking sensors — two in the front and four in the rear.

Honda’s top-of-the-line Touring trim offers the chrome exhaust tips on the 2.0-liter models and features a reverse-gear tilt down on the passenger side-view mirror. You also get chrome trim on the door handles and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Touring also upgrades to 19-inch machine-faced alloy wheels. 

Powertrain Options

In the Accord LX, Sport, and EX-L trims, you get the 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder turbocharged engine standard. This engine features dual overhead cams and 16 valves with intelligent, electronically-controlled variable valve timing (i-VTEC) technology. Honda pairs this engine with a continuously variable transmission to deliver 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. The Sport trim adds steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters for a more thrilling driving experience.

Touring models use a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine with i-VTEC mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with shift-by-wire technology and paddle shifters. This powertrain puts out 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. You can opt for the 2.0-liter engine on the 2021 Honda Accord Sport trim.

The hybrid powertrain comes with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable transmission. An Atkinson-cycle synchronous permanent magnet electric motor and a lithium-ion battery help deliver 212 total system horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid powertrain and the EX-L and Touring trims have remote engine start capability.

Interior Comfort

Slipping inside the cabin of the Honda Accord, you find comfortable seating for five. Every Accord has a dual-zone climate control system, power windows and locks, cruise control, one-touch turn signal indicators, a tilt, and telescoping steering column, and push-button start technology. The center console features a convenient armrest with a storage compartment and cup holders in the front and rear.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel adds sophisticated comfort to the Sport, EX-L, and Touring trims. The Sport and EX-L models with the 1.5-liter engine come with a leather-wrapped shift knob, and the Sport trim adds sport pedals. The EX-L and Touring models have an automatic dimming rear-view mirror and the HomeLink remote system standard. Ambient lighting comes standard on the Touring trim.

Premium cloth upholstery comes standard on the lower models with leather-trimmed seats standard on the Touring and available on the others. Heated front and rear outboard seats also come standard on the Touring and can be added to the EX-L and Hybrid EX models. Select trims offer ventilated front seats for additional comfort on hot days. The 60/40 rear seat split/folds for multiple cargo configurations on every trim but the LX, which simply folds in one piece.

In-Vehicle Technology

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability come with every Honda Accord. This technology allows you to sync your smart devices to the 8-inch display audio touch-screen.
